Very Successfull Techie Breakie!
Picture this...
...a selection of Riverina School students and teachers, in the staffroom, working together on setting up blogging pages. Sitting side by side - talking and learning together as equals. Laughing and chattering while problem solving - and all of this AT 8am in the morning!
Thanks to those Riverina Teachers who came to learn something new OR support others. A huge thanks to those Riverina Students (Trae, Shania and Manu) who gave up their time too!! You are all super stars!!!!

We are still buzzing after Ulearn09!!!
All week it seems that ICT has really been buzzing at Riverina School, however today was one of the best.
The computer suite was full of students working together to create brainstorms on inspiration, update their own blogger pages and listening to youtube music in the background. Teachers and children learning from one another and completely engaged.
The ICT suite was not the only place e-learning was going on - one junior classroom had both C.O.W's (Computers on wheels) set up in the classroom and were continuing with some story writing in Kidpix!
The staffroom has also been filled with teachers sharing ideas such as websites, powerpoint presentations, blogging and so on!
Keep it up Riverina Teachers!

Techie Breakies
We will be starting Techie Breakies on Friday morning from 8am to 8.20am. This is a time for teachers to come and get support OR to support others with a particular focus of ICT. The first Techie Breakie will be about BLOGGING on WIKISPACES :)
